The most memorable moment for the team was the 2016 Rhino Charge. Very sadly it was just after the tragic death of Big Red (Dip Francombe). The team dedicated this Rhino Charge to Dip.
They took off from the start on a very aggressive route which meant 2 hours battling a near vertical hillside. After much swearing, sweat, blood and guts we reached the plateau on the top of the hill only to discover there was no way off it! They looked to the heavens for inspiration from Big Red, with his experience of 20 Rhino Charges.
Well….he guided us down an impossible route, with a near end over end roll, to safety at the base. Phew…there was relief all around.
