In 2005 Torben Rune got a last minute call to stand in for Mike Kirkland (Then Team 50) to drive his car in the Rhino Charge. A small group of last minute volunteers made up the first team that year. Since then Rhino Charge has been about old friends, good times and raising funds for a great cause. Torben’s friends now travel from Australia, Canada, Denmark, France and Abu Dhabi to meet once a year for the event. While they are all very competitive by nature winning is by no means the primary goal.
